In its latest release of RentWorks, Bluebird Auto Rental Systems has added a daily planner feature. This useful screen allows you to view all of your activities that need to be addressed for a selected day.
For selected locations and car classes, you can view:
Reservations
Duebacks
Repair orders
Deliveries (when a car has to be delivered upon contract open)
Collections (when a car has to be retrieved upon contract close)
Pickups (when a customer has to be picked up upon contract open)
Transfers (when a car has to be taken to another location in order to fulfill a reservation)
A calendar in the upper right allows you to quickly select the date you want to view. It can be viewed in a schedule or list format.
Tasks can also be created. For each task, you can set a due date and time and then assign it to a location or to a specific employee. If the latter, that employee will see the task when they log in and access the daily planner.
Once an activity is highlighted, you can hot key to the contract or reservation. You can even change the colors for the various items to be viewed.
