Bluebird Auto Rental Systems was nominated by Progress, a global software company, for the Progress Channel Partner Awards. “We are very pleased to be nominated for Progress Software’s Visionary Award for 2011,” said Phil Jones, Bluebird VP. “Bluebird has worked hard to transform our application over the past few years, adopting a multi-tier architecture and being the first auto rental software company to embrace Amazon’s EC2 Cloud. It is always gratifying to be recognized by your industry peers, and winning Progress Software’s Application Partner of the year for North America in 2007 validated the direction we had set out on.

“Now, being recognized again as an innovator in our market segment for 2011, it further endorses the decisions we have made, but we are not going to stop here. Over the coming months we will be introducing more innovative technology to further complement our software with data mining tools and multi-tenancy.”
