In Italy, five new locations have been opened at popular destinations, including sites in Bologna, Milan and Rome.
"The opening of new Budget locations in France and Italy helps us attract small- and medium-sized businesses to these local-market facilities while also showing our continued commitment to providing business and leisure travelers with convenient facilities, quality, well-maintained vehicles and excellent service," said Larry De Shon, president, International, Avis Budget Group. "In fact, in less than two years, we have opened nearly 400 new locations to meet the growing demand for car hire in Europe's leading business and holiday travel destinations."
This recent expansion builds upon Budget's strong presence in Europe, which includes facilities across Germany, Portugal, Spain, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom, according to the company.
