Major renovations to downtown Provo, Utah will be paid for in part by car rental excise taxes, BYUNewsNet.com reports.
The city plans to build a performing arts center, conference center, boutique shops and a full-service hotel as well as create more commercial office space in an attempt to attract more visitors to downtown.
