CarTrawler Appoints New Chief Procurement Officer
Brian Ingarfield joins the CarTrawler team after serving as the general manager of Tour America for seven years. He will now be in charge of the development of CarTrawler’s global car rental supply base.
CarTrawler announced on Dec. 3 the appointment of a new Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to its Executive Team. As the new CPO, Brian Ingarfield will be responsible for the development of the global car rental supply base for CarTrawler, a car rental distribution software company.
Prior to joining CarTrawler, Ingarfield served as the general manager of Tour America for seven years where he transformed business operations and delivered profitable growth under challenging market conditions, CarTrawler said. Ingarfield has also held senior executive positions at Langdale Holdings, UPS and Mayne Nickless PLC.
“The mutually beneficial partnership that we enjoy with [800 car rental agents] is of critical importance to our business and has been one of the driving forces behind our significant double digit growth in recent years,” CarTrawler CEO Mike McGearty said. “Brian has an impressive track record of building strategic alliances and I am confident that he will help us to reinforce the outstanding relationship that we have with our car rental partners.”
Current CPO and CarTrawler co-founder Niall Turley will be transitioning to a non-executive role on the Board of Directors.
