Europcar Launches New Mobile App
Available for iPhone or Android devices, Europcar’s new mobile app consolidates the entire rental process into three steps.
Europcar has launched a new mobile application to meet customers’ usage of mobile and tablet devices as their preferred source of online interaction.
The app guides customers through the rental process in three steps: selecting the time and place of rental, choosing the vehicle and determining payment options. Customers can also add extras such as child seats or GPS, says Europcar.
“Our new application allows customers to search for any Europcar branch worldwide and make and manage their bookings at the touch of a button,” said Mike Warmington, sales and marketing director for Europcar Australia and New Zealand.
Additionally, the app stores personal data to facilitate future bookings, says Europcar.
“More and more mobile users are making purchasing decisions via their smartphones, and our mobile app reflects our commitment to support customers’ changing needs,” said Warmington. “We understand that whether you are renting for business, leisure or a practical purpose … you don’t need the added hassle of a complicated vehicle rental.”
The app is available for iPhone or Android devices, but Europcar also offers an optimized mobile website for customers without such phones.
