Qatar becomes Finalrentals’ fourth strategic expansion in the Middle East, following successful entries in Jordan, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

Qatar, which hosted the FIFA World Cup two years ago, remains a thriving global destination, and this expansion aligns with the country's booming travel and tourism sector.

Safety Rent a Car, a prominent player in Qatar’s car rental market, offers many vehicles for short- and long-term rentals.

Their local market expertise makes them an ideal partner for U.K.-based Finalrentals. With the Qatari car rental market projected to reach $159 million by 2027 and an annual growth rate of 9.27%, this partnership is positioned to meet the growing demand for digitally driven, high-quality rental services.

“Qatar is a special market - it made history as the first Arab nation to host the World Cup, and the excitement from that event is still palpable,” said Ammar Akhtar, founder and CEO of Finalrentals, in a news release. “As we continue to grow globally, Qatar represents a critical market full of potential and exciting opportunities.

Mr. Youssef, general manager of Safety Rent a Car, added: “Qatar is one of the most dynamic markets in the region, and we welcome Finalrentals into this forward-thinking country. With the car rental industry expanding at a rate of over 9% annually, this partnership paves the way for new innovations and tremendous growth.”
