Fox Rent A Car is set to open a corporate location in Salt Lake City on April 1, 2008.

The move is a part of a company-wide expansion strategy that included the opening of a corporate location at Seattle airport in August 2007. Fox looks to move the Seattle location into the consolidated car rental facility that is in the planning stages.

The company says the Seattle airport location gives Fox the ability to target the value-oriented consumer and local businesses.

“In 2007 we asked our customers what new markets they would like to see us in,” said Joe Knight, vice president of business development. “Helped by our customers’ feedback, we decided to open the Seattle and Salt Lake Airport location, and we are in the advanced planning stages to open additional locations throughout 2008.”

“Seattle has been a great new market for us,” said Mike Jaberi, a founder and owner of Fox Rent A Car. “As we continue to develop and refine our Web-based reservation system, our volume of business continues to grow. We are confident that we can enter new airport markets and succeed.”
