Richard Lowden, Green Motion’s founder and chairman, said, “The Middle East represents a highly strategic territory for Green Motion’s onward development, and I’m delighted that Sadeen Rent A Car has acquired our Regional Master Franchise for the Middle East.”

Hani Salah, chairman and founder of the Sadeen Group, said, “Green Motion will be a great addition to the Sadeen Group within the Gulf region. We are confident that the Sadeen Group will be a highly strategic partner for the development of the Green Motion brand within the Middle East. We as Sadeen Group are delighted to acquire the Regional Master Franchise for the Gulf and Middle East countries - Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Oman, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestinian Territories, Egypt and Jordan.”

Initially, Green Motion will open its first rent-a-car operation in the Middle East supporting Jordan, particularly Queen Alia International Airport. Following expansion within Jordan, further operations will open within Saudi Arabia, supporting the main business and leisure districts of Al Khobar, Riyadh, Mecca, Yanbu and Jeddah.

Green Motion reports it plans to open further locations by the sale of either Master Country franchises and/or Master State franchises within North America (Canada and the United States of America), Central America (Costa Rica, Panama and Belize), South America (Brazil, Argentine and Chile), the Far East (Malaysia and Singapore) and further expansion in Europe.
