Hertz Music Store to Launch Mid-August
Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members can download free music with every vehicle rental through Hertz’s Music Store.
Hertz Corp. announced the launch of the Hertz Music Store, which allows Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members to acquire a variety of music on the program’s website, according to an Aug. 7 company press release.
The Hertz Music Store will be live in mid-August. To kick off the launch, Hertz Gold Plus Reward members can accumulate three free song downloads per car rental through Aug. 31. At the end of the month, members will receive an email detailing how to redeem the free songs.
“For Hertz customers, the connection between the open road and great music runs deep,” said Mark P. Frissora, Hertz chairman and CEO. “With the Hertz Music Store, loyal Hertz customers will have a new way to download the music they love for free, making their travel experiences even more enjoyable.”
The Music Store is the second initiative in Hertz’ Movin’ with Music program. Earlier this summer Hertz and LiveNation worked together to create the “Best Seats Sweepstakes,” and later this year, Hertz plans to introduce Hertz Live Radio, which will launch three radio stations.
