Hertz Names Philippe Laffont as New Director of Board
According to Hertz Global Holdings Inc., Philippe P. Laffont has been elected as director of the Hertz Board by Hertz’s Board of Directors and the Hertz Corp.
Elected by Hertz’s Board of Directors and the Hertz Corp., Philippe P. Laffont has been named as the new director of the Hertz Board.
Founder and chief investment officer of Coatue Management, Laffont serves on the advisory board of the Robin Hood X Prize and is a Trustee of the New York Presbyterian Hospital. Prior to founding Coatue, Laffont worked at Tiger Management as a research analyst from 1996 to 1999.
Laffont started his career as an analyst in management consulting for McKinsey & Co. in Madrid, where he worked from 1992 to 1994, and then served as an independent consultant until starting at Tiger Management.
