Hertz Teams up with Tourism Radio in Cape Town
Partnering with Cape Town-based Tourism Radio, Hertz South Africa provides Cape Town customers in-car audio travel guides.
Partnering with Cape Town-based Tourism Radio, Hertz South Africa provides Cape Town customers in-car audio travel guides, according to a report by TravelDailyNews International. This partnership started in 2010.
Hertz customers can receive this easy-to-use location device for free. After plugging the device into the cigarette lighter of the Hertz rental car, customers will receive a personalized audio travel guide, says the report.
“We have partnered with Tourism Radio for a number of years and the feedback from our clients has been very positive,” Wayne Scheltema, manager of the Hertz location in Cape Town International Airport, told TravelDailyNews International.
Tourism Radio travel guides are available free of charge at Hertz locations at the Cape Town International Airport and in downtown Cape Town, says the report.
“We’ve seen continued growth in the number of tourists visiting South Africa, and we expect the 2013/2014 peak to show record numbers,” Tourism Radio CEO Mark Allewell told TravelDailyNews International. “Hertz remains a key partner in our goal to provide self-drive tourists with relevant, useful and entertaining information about the area around.”
