Automobile Technologies (AMT) has announced InspectionNotes integration with Thermeon’s car rental software to transmit real-time data for mobile damage inspections.

InspectionNotes was developed for rental car agents to perform mobile inspections and condition reports from a tablet or smartphone. Agents can take pictures, document damage, obtain digital signatures, and collect vehicle information at vehicle check-in and checkout, according to AMT.

InspectionNotes offers rental car damage inspection templates as well as a custom forms builder to duplicate electronically any paper inspection forms, says AMT.

"Our goal is to offer a user-friendly, mobile app combined with the most advanced cloud software technology to meet the demands of the rental car industry," said Mike Fischer, AMT's executive vice president. "A huge goal for rental car companies is to substantially reduce millions of dollars in unpaid damage claims, and InspectionNotes hits the mark with its comprehensive solution.”

AMT also offers add-on modules for estimating, claims handling, vendor monitoring and repair tracking to manage the claims and repair process. Information such as location, vehicle number, vehicle model, customer’s name and vehicle license plate can be transmitted from Thermeon to InspectionNotes for use in the inspection form.

Automobile Technologies is exhibiting at the International Car Rental Show in Las Vegas. The 2016 International Car Rental Show will be held April 17-19 at Bally’s Las Vegas. Click here for the full schedule.
