Iowa Car Rental Employee Caught Privately Renting Out Vehicles
A Des Moines woman was reported to police after she took the keys from four Enterprise cars and rented them on her own.
According to ABC 5 in Des Moines, Iowa, an Enterprise employee may face charges for theft after four vehicles went missing from the airport Enterprise Rent-a-Car location where she worked.
A witness reported Tara Rincon, 21, to Enterprise Manager Doug Reiser when Rincon was found pocketing money from renting out vehicles on her own.
Rincon returned the vehicles which included a Dodge Avenger, a Nissan Titan, a Ford F–150 and a Chevrolet Suburban — all 2012 models.
Des Moines police said that since Rincon had legal access to the vehicles, the situation may not be theft. Instead, Enterprise may deal with the matter internally.
