Contracting with Business Travelers Services, Inc. (BTS), Payless Car Rental Systems will be testing Internet workstations at select locations for four months. The BTS provided eKiosks™ Internet terminals will first appear in the Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport and the Tampa International Airport for public use.
The kiosks will work by allowing users 10 free minutes of Internet access. After the initial 10-minute period, customers must swipe their credit card to continue receiving access to the Internet.
The units will be equipped with a screen saver offering several services to users. These services will include hotel information, directions, maps, e-mail services and, of course, the Payless website. Printers will also be connected to the kiosks so that customers can get a hard copy of whatever they access.
