L.A. Approves Purchase of Land for Rental Car Center
The Los Angeles City Council approved the acquisition of 37 parcels of land as part of its traffic improvement project at Los Angeles International Airport. The project includes a new consolidated rental car center.

The Los Angeles City Council approved the acquisition of 37 parcels of land as part of its traffic improvement project at Los Angeles International Airport, according to a report by the Daily Breeze.
The land will be used as part of airport’s new consolidated rental car center, says the report. The project will consolidate more than 20 car rental offices in one location. The rental center is part of the airport’s $5.5 billion Landside Access Modernization Program.
The consolidated rental car center is expected to reduce traffic congestion around the airport along with the 2.25-mile Automated People Mover, says the report.
