Loopit, a vehicle subscription and car rental software provider, recently partnered with Aero Corporation — one of the largest North American franchisees of the Avis and Budget brands operating in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota — to add flexible subscription offerings to its traditional rental business.

Aero Corporation is one of three Avis and Budget franchisees joining forces with Loopit, signaling a broader shift within the rental industry toward more mobility options for customers. This move taps Loopit's ability to help rental car providers adapt to changing consumer preferences.

The partnerships enable the franchisees to manage daily rentals and long-term subscriptions on Loopit's unified platform. By leveraging Loopit's capabilities — including billing automation, biometric identity verification, vehicle telematics, and end-to-end workflow management — the franchisees can efficiently scale diverse rental models and better cater to shifting customer demands.

Michael Higgins, CEO of Loopit, said in a Feb. 13 news release: "This underscores a broader trend of rental providers moving beyond the traditional one-size-fits-all approach to offer the flexible solutions customers expect today. With Loopit, they can do so without disrupting their core business."

The shift comes as consumers increasingly prefer on-demand access models to ownership. Loopit's platform is built to help rental companies remain competitive by enabling their operations and finances to handle this demand.

"Loopit has allowed us to expand our business model and be more innovative in how we serve customers, all on one seamless platform,” said Solomon Cramer, president of Aero Corporation. “We can now provide daily and monthly offerings to cater to diverse needs while managing everything efficiently."

The Loopit platform offers customer acquisition, billing, fleet management, and analytics functions, helping rental car operations streamline operations and improve service offerings. The platform supports rental companies, dealerships, and OEMs in launching and scaling subscription and rental services.
