Daimler launched a private carsharing service for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class.

Through the Mercedes Me app, A-Class owners can share their vehicle with a chosen group of users.

Authorized users can open the vehicle using the app. The vehicle contains a temporarily enabled vehicle key to start the car. When returning the vehicle, the driver puts the key back in the car and closes the car with the app, bringing the sharing period to an end. The vehicle key in the car can be used only during the sharing period.
