The car-sharing company was founded in New York by Tufts University alumnus Richard Ull and is geared toward university students.
Car-sharing company Mint Cars On-Demand opened a new location in Davis Square in the Boston area the week of Jan. 30, according to The Tufts Daily.
The company, founded by Tufts alumnus Richard Ull, operates locations in New York City and Boston. The business provides access to vehicles for anywhere from an hour to as long as several days. Memberships are available for drivers who are 21 years old and over.
The Davis Square location offers Nissan Sentras.
Ull who launched the company in 2008 in New York and expanded to the Boston area in 2011, said the large concentration of universities and students in the Boston area makes it a good locale for the company.

A search tool allows customers to refine the search by vehicle, as well as by time and location.
