Omaha’s Eppley Airfield will be adding a new six-story garage during its renovation project, according to a report by the Daily Nonpareil.
Once the project is complete, the rental car booths will be placed in a new customer service center next to the new garage, says the report. The rental cars will be parked on the first two levels of the 3,000-space garage.
During construction, rental car facilities will be moved to the canopy lot, south of the airport terminal. The project is expected to take two years to complete, according to the report.
This construction project is part of the airport’s 20-year improvements plan, which was approved in 2013, says the report.
