The remote starter, a new addition to Rent Centric’s proprietary GPS OBDII module, also allows the car rental or carsharing company to provide their customers with the option of a remote start to heat up or cool down the vehicle — prior to their arrival in hot- or cold-weather climates.
“It’s another proud step for Rent Centric in providing its clients with the best of self-service on-demand car rental and carsharing management technologies,” said Alex Aryafar, Rent Centric’s chief technology officer. “This new feature will not only save our clients’ money, but make their products more attractive to new customers as well.”
