Rentcars.com has been working to change the way online bookings are done throughout South America. It started a system automation movement in Brazil, alongside the country’s major rental companies, and now Brazil’s online car rental suppliers are almost 100% automated.
The focus of the majority of OTA's now goes to other countries in South America. Localiza Argentina has already begun working with the automated system, integrated directly with Rentcars.com.
Rentcars.com’s Business Development Director Vivian Almeida said this new integration between Localiza Argentina and Rentcars.com will help create a better experience for customers, as they will now receive real-time booking confirmation.
“We are building strategic alliances," said Frederico Polo, Localiza Argentina's commercial manager. "Through Rentcars.com, we're able to use XML integration which allow us to up the quality of our service and shorten our response time to our clients.”
