Sixt Rent a Car has appointed Arabia Cars, the car rental division of Travel Point, as its franchisee partner in Oman. Arabia Cars will now operate as Sixt Oman.
“We are delighted to be appointed as the franchisee for Sixt in the country,” Sunil Prabhakar, CEO of Travel Point. “This is indicative of the company’s vision and the direction we’re heading in. It is an achievement of immense pride.”

Sixt Oman’s head office will be located at Al Said Plaza in Qurum. Other branches include Salalah, Nizwa, Duqm, and Muscat International Airport in phase 1. The company plans to extend to all 44 Travel Point outlets across Oman.
“The Middle East is a very important region for business and industry,” said Rudiger Proske, Sixt’s senior vice president franchise. “Sixt’s high-quality services are very popular in the region and are growing fast. With Travel Point, we have a new partner in Oman who has more than 20 years of mobility service experience in the market. The company is extending its network of stations in the region and will cover almost all the sultanate in the future.”
