Tesloop, the Culver City, Calif.-based Tesla ride-hailing startup, is expanding its transportation options to allow customers to rent an all-electric Tesla Model 3 for a flat $49 fee to drive one way from San Diego to Los Angeles, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
The company, started in 2015 by then 16-year-old Haydn Sonnad, allows renters to choose from a variety of Tesla models for the roughly two-hour trip. Currently, Tesloop operates with a fleet of 12 vehicles.
