Orcar debuted at the 2025 International Car Rental Show with proprietary technology to set up an AI-driven car rental operation. The company uses it at two locations in South Korea and is planning to roll it out this year in Orange County, California.
Orcar’s service appeals to operations serving many younger travelers who prefer to bypass traditional car-rental routes. The system includes kiosks, apps, and online tools to speed up the rental car process and document transactions in the backend of a rental fleet operation.
Jade Kang, chief product officer of Orcar, based in Seoul, South Korea, last year shared a presentation titled "Zero Friction: Rethinking Car Rental for the No-Wait Generation" at Travel Tech Asia 2025 in Singapore. He will deliver an updated version of his presentation during an AI Super Session on May 14 at the 2026 International Car Rental Show in Dallas.
