Walser Automotive Group, a fleet supplier to car rental companies, announces the opening of a Florida division to their Minneapolis based operation. Michael Muehlenfeld, former founder of Mile Fleet, has been named general manager of fleet operations for the company.

Muehlenfeld is joined by Dave Goldstein as fleet controller and Terri Grampa, who has been promoted to fleet specialist.

At its peak in 2017, Mile Fleet supplied 60,000 fleet units to clients. Muehlenfeld and Goldstein both have over 30 years’ experience in the fleet industry when Alamo Rent A Car was based in Fort Lauderdale.

Goldstein and Muehlenfeld will be joined in the Edina, Minn. office by Claudia Kraemer, director of fleet operations, and Nick Spielman, new vehicle acquisition specialist.

With sales outlets in Minnesota, Kansas, and California, the Walser Automotive Group has 25 franchise rooftops and two independent used car sales entities.
