Move Mee, a provider of contactless car rental services, has been nominated for the "Best Mobile App of 2020" award, the company announced.

The Best Mobile App Awards committee of judges is made up of expert designers, developers, and publishers. Each judge goes through a thorough and complete examination of each and every mobile app submitted for an award.

Each judge has his or her own core competency, which allows for diverse and well-rounded judging results within each contest. User interface, originality, usability, and creativity are some of the things the judges will be looking for in all submissions for the "Best Overall App of 2020."

Move Mee, which officially launched in February, provides independent and branded car rental operators and automotive dealerships the ability to launch fully contactless rental services, delivering a completely new frictionless experience. Move Mee enables car or van rental customer to fully pre-register and validate their details via the Move Mee app, book and pay, and go straight to their car on arrival, removing the need to visit the rental location or queue at the counter.

Utilising in-car technology the customer is able to access their vehicle via a digital key within the app.

The Best Mobile App awards were established in 2012, with the objective of creating one central authority to highlight the best mobile apps available on the market.

“We are absolutely delighted to be nominated for the Best Mobile App of 2020 Award," Move Mee’s Founder and Co-CEO Richard Lowden said in a statement. “Move Mee has gone from strength to strength since its launch earlier this year, with demand only increasing since start of the pandemic. We are thrilled to be able to provide contactless car rental services to consumers around the world, delivering the safest form of personal transportation for 2020.”
