Luxury automaker Porsche has launched two short-term rental programs, Porsche Drive and Porsche Host, to provide on-demand vehicle access to its sports cars.
The first program, Porsche Drive, launched this week in Atlanta, offering users a range of Porsche models to rent hourly, daily, or weekly. Prices for Porsche Drive, not including taxes and fees, run from $269 for four hours to $2,909 for weekly usage. Users can reserve a vehicle through the Porsche Drive website, by phone, or by email.
The second program, Porsche Host, is the automaker’s partnering program with carsharing platform Turo. The program allows eligible Porsche owners to lend their vehicles daily, monthly, or longer, based on their feedback rating on Turo and how long they have used the platform. Users will be able to book a vehicle via the Turo app or website when the program launches in Los Angeles and San Francisco on Oct. 8.
