As part of several construction projects, North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad International Airport plans to relocate its rental car storage lots, according to a report by Triad Business Journal.

The current rental car lots need to be moved because of the position of the airport’s new control tower, says the report. The lots would briefly obstruct air traffic controllers’ view.

The new car rental lots will be moved to the northeastern corner of the airport, according to the report. Construction is set to begin this summer and is expected to take about two years to complete.
