GoGet Launches in Australian City with Accessible Transportation Card
The car sharing company will allow customers in Brisbane, Australia to access its vehicles with a new ‘Go’ card.
Australia-based car sharing company GoGet connected its services to the existing public transport network in Brisbane, Australia. In addition to adding its fleet of vehicles to Brisbane, GoGet is offering residents a “Go” card that turns TransLink’s existing electronic ticket into an access key for GoGet cars.
Currently, Brisbane’s “Go” card gives users access to travel via bus, train or ferry with a single card. New members will receive a free “Go” card with travel credit preloaded onto it.
“We’ve added car share to this already great system, so you can have all the city transport you need on a single card,” GoGet’s Co-founder Bruce Jeffreys said. “A Brisbanite can go from ferry, to train, to bus, to car share without skipping a beat.”
