The American Car Rental Association (ACRA) invites its members to attend the 7th Annual ACRA D.C. Legislative Conference, taking place September 19-21 in Washington, D.C.
For the first time, ACRA will offer a Car Rental Boot Camp focusing on operations and policy.
The first day of boot camp will explore the lifecycle of a rental company’s operations. Rental car experts will share information based on their experiences. The second day will focus on policy, giving attendees the opportunity to attend legislative policy educational sessions hosted by government relations experts in the U.S. Capitol’s Visitor Center.
The final day of the conference includes visiting legislators and staff on Capitol Hill and discussing ACRA’s policy priorities.
“Whether the attendee is a brand-new operator or a seasoned larger company, there is something for everyone to learn,” said Sharon Faulkner, executive director of ACRA. “We are exploring the lifecycle of a car rental company from the initial acquisition and financing to legal issues and software needs, insurance procurement and marketing of ancillary products, fleet management and telematics, damage collections, and auto recovery to the end of the cycle – the disposal of fleet.”
To attend, ACRA members can register online at acraorg.com. Click here for the full conference schedule. Space is limited to 75 attendees.
