Alamo Launches ‘Get the Gang Back Together’ in Honor of Disney’s ‘The Muppets’
Facebook users can ‘Like’ the Alamo Facebook page for a change to win $5,000 toward a reunion with old friends.
To celebrate the upcoming Disney movie “The Muppets,” which opens nationwide on Nov. 23, Alamo Rent A Car is launching the “Get the Gang Back Together” Sweepstakes, according to a Nov. 1 recent press release.
In “The Muppets,” Kermit the Frog embarks on a cross-country drive in hopes of getting the Muppets back together. In light of this premise, one winner from Alamo’s sweepstakes will receive $5,000 cash toward a vacation to reunite with his or her own group of friends.
The sweepstakes began Oct. 24 and will end on Dec. 16. The grand-prize winner will be selected at random around Dec. 19.
To enter the sweepstakes, Facebook users must first “Like” the Alamo Rent A Car fan page and then click the “Get the Gang Back Together” tab in the left column of the page. After registering, fans can also click the “Check Your Luggage” tab for additional opportunities to win prizes through Alamo.
Fans can enter the sweepstakes once per day, and members of Alamo Insiders receive two entries per day in addition to rental discounts. To become an Alamo Insider, one must be initiated on the Alamo Facebook page.
“As the official rent a car of Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, Alamo is thrilled to be a part of Disney’s ‘The Muppets’ movie,” said Susan Madigan, director for the Alamo Rent A Car brand.
