Alamo Rent A Car Brand Enters Peru
Enterprise Holdings enters a franchise agreement with Lima-based COPA S.A. to develop an Alamo-branded rental business in Peru.
Enterprise Holdings - owner and operator of Alamo Rent A Car, National Car Rental and Enterprise Rent-A-Car - announced that it is franchising the use of its Alamo Rent A Car brand to COPA S.A. of Lima, Peru. This appointment continues the expansion of the brand in Latin America.
Alamo will serve Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, which has more than 12 million passengers a year.
“COPA S.A. has been meeting the transportation needs of customers in Peru for nearly 35 years,” said Peter A. Smith, vice president of global franchising for Enterprise Holdings, which also owns and operates National Car Rental throughout the Americas. “Our companies share a strong commitment to customer service that makes COPA a good fit for us as we expand our reach to meet the needs of travelers to Peru.”
Raul Olcese, executive director of COPA S.A., said: “We are pleased to be chosen to bring the Alamo brand to leisure travels in Peru. Customers have come to expect convenience and affordability from Alamo, and we look forward to meeting those expectations.”
