Avis Budget Group Wraps Up Employee Appreciation Tour in New Jersey
The ‘Rolling Pride Rally’ stopped at 87 Avis and Budget locations across North America to thank customers and thousands of employees.
Avis Budget Group Inc. concluded its eight-week bus tour across North America thanking both employees and customers at the Parsippany headquarters on Sept. 7.
The “Rolling Pride Rally” visited 87 Avis and Budget locations in the United States and Canada. Stops featured addresses from members of the Avis Budget Group senior leadership team, appearances by special guests and charitable donations, as well as employee and customer giveaways.
As part of the Parsippany festivities, Ronald L. Nelson, chairman and CEO of Avis Budget Group, presented New Jersey First Lady Mary Pat Christie with a $10,000 check for New Jersey Heroes, which recognizes and celebrates the work done by individuals and non-profit organizations.
“We have a responsibility to address the needs of our employees, customers, and the community at large,” said North America Avis Budget Group President Tom Gartland. “The Rolling Pride Rally has allowed us to do all three, and has inspired and energized employees to help us better serve Avis, Budget and Budget Truck customers across North America.”
