Avis Forms Partnership with FlightBridge
By partnering with FlightBridge Inc., Avis will be able to provide customers with online access to rental vehicles at Fixed Based Operations when using FlightBridge.
Avis Car Rental recently announced that it has established a new partnership with FlightBridge Inc. — creators of FlightBridge, an online reservation and communication tool that connects general aviation aircraft operators and their service providers. FlightBridge automates trip-related service requests such as car rental bookings, catering orders, hotel accommodations and airport service center/Fixed Base Operator (FBO) arrangements.
As part of the new multi-year agreement, Avis will be featured on FlightBridge to provide customers with online access and availability to rental vehicles at FBOs in North America.
Once an Avis reservation is made via FlightBridge, all rental information and any subsequent changes are automatically confirmed and integrated with a customer's trip itinerary. Then Avis will fulfill the reservation at the appropriate date and time by delivering the vehicle at the FBO designated on the reservation, says the company.
"FlightBridge is a one-stop solution for managing private aviation trip logistics, so it's an important channel for us to be in as we look to accelerate growth," said Stephen Wright, vice president of global travel and partnerships, Avis Budget Group. "We're excited to work with FlightBridge and look forward to providing their customers with outstanding vehicles and service."
"Integrating Avis rental vehicles with other critical trip-planning details offers efficiency and convenience to private aviation customers," said Dudley King, president of FlightBridge. "We're confident that our customers will appreciate the premium level of service that Avis provides."
Last week, Hertz announced its partnership with FlightBridge. Click here to learn more.
