car2go Enters Partnership with The Parking Spot in Austin, Texas
Members will be able to drop off or pick up a rental at the near-airport parking company for an additional $5 charge. Eight spaces at The Parking Sport are reserved for car2go vehicles.
car2go launched a partnership on April 11 with The Parking Spot, the near-airport parking company, in Austin, Texas. The partnership is the first airport parking option for car2go members in North America.
Under the partnership, car2go members can drop off or pick up a rental at The Parking Spot, located next to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Eight parking spaces are reserved for car2go vehicles.
There will be a $5 charge added to the member's car2go account for each trip taken to or from The Parking Spot. No additional parking fees will apply.
Parking is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
There are 318 car2go edition smart fortwo vehicles available to rent in the city.
