Dollar Rent A Car, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc., kicks off its own signature frequency program, Dollar Express Renter Rewards.
The program, an enhancement to the company's already-popular Dollar Express program - which promises expedited service - will reward members who elect to sign up with credits that will earn them free days on qualifying rentals at participating DOLLAR locations in the U.S.
To celebrate the launch, Dollar Express Renter Rewards members will earn double credits now through March 31, 2007, when booking their reservation via DOLLAR.com. (Single credits will be awarded for rentals made through other booking channels). Eligible rentals must take place after Nov. 1 with a return date prior to Mar. 31, 2007 to qualify for "double credits."
Dollar Express Renter Rewards members are awarded one free day when a member earns 16 credits. Ordinarily, each rental day under the program equals one credit, with a rental day based on a 24-hour rental day starting at the time of rental. But through Mar. 31, 2007, members will have the opportunity to earn double credits.
"This is a great time to get in on the ground floor of this terrific new program, and earn double credits toward free rentals," said Rainey Talbot, Executive Director of Express Services and Advertising for Dollar Rent A Car. "Not only can customers take advantage of the expedited service offered by Dollar Express, now they can reap the rewards of credits toward free rental days. Dollar Express Rental Rewards is an awesome addition to an already great program."
To automatically earn credits, members must select Renter Rewards as their preferred program choice in their Dollar Express profile and book a reservation using their Dollar Express number. Members may elect to earn Renter Rewards credits or frequent flyer miles/points when they rent at Dollar Rent A Car . . . but not both. Those choosing to earn frequent flyer miles/points must provide their frequent flyer number on the enrollment form or at the time of rental. Members may change their Reward selection at any time by modifying their profile on DOLLAR.com, or by calling Dollar Express Member Services at 1-866-776-6667.
Dollar Express Renter Rewards is open to all new and existing Dollar Express members who indicate they want to participate. To sign up, new customers may visit DOLLAR.com or call Dollar Express Member Services at 1-866-776-6667; current Dollar Express members can update their profile using the same contact information. Credits may be tracked online at DOLLAR.com.
Every rental day under the program will qualify for at least one credit. The Dollar Express member must be the primary renter. Other restrictions may apply. For a complete listing of the "Terms and Conditions" of this program, please log on to DOLLAR.com.
Free days are redeemable in the U.S. and apply to time and mileage only. Free day certificates are available for use on rentals of compact through full-size cars and minivans. Dollar Express Rental Rewards credits are valid for one year from the date of issue.
