Economy Rent a Car Corp. announced the addition of 12 new affiliate locations spanning across North and South America, the Caribbean, and Europe. According to a March 31 news release, these are comprised of both new affiliates and existing affiliate expansions.

Alejandro Muniz, president of Economy Rent a Car, said that the affiliate program was initiated in 2009. “We always believed our affiliates would benefit from the brand exposure and world class support our business model offers," he said. "We are seeing the results."

Muniz attributed the growth to increased travel and the lowering of travel restrictions, and said, “In reality we are growing because we empower our affiliates to achieve their individual business goals with a brand that has their best interests to grow independently.”

The new U.S. locations are located on the East and West Coast while the international locations are scattered throughout the Caribbean, South America, and Europe.

Economy Rent a Car Corp is located in over 40 countries and over 100 airports around the world. It was founded in Costa Rica with North American headquarters in Fort Lauderdale.
