Travel Weekly has announced the gold and silver winners of the 2019 Magellan Awards in ground transportation.

The 2019 Magellan Awards honor the best in travel in a range of industry segments, including ground transportation, airlines & airports, cruise lines, destinations, hospitality, online travel services, travel agents and agencies, and tour operators.

Travel Weekly has announced the gold and silver winners of the 2019 Magellan Awards in ground transportation. 

In the gold category, Auto Europe won awards for Car Rental – Overall-Luxury Car Collection and for Car Service – Overall-Worldwide Coverage. Avis Budget Group’s Unlimited Rewards loyalty program received the award for Car Rental – Overall-Loyalty Program, while Enterprise Holdings picked up the award for Car Service – Overall-Worldwide Coverage. Hertz received two awards. Hertz Fast Lane and Hertz Corvette Sweeps won awards for Grand Transportation Marketing – Campaign-Advertising/Marketing.

In the silver category, Blacklane received an award for Car Service – Overall Campaign-Advertising/Marketing. Hertz got an award for its mobile app. Enterprise Holdings received two awards. National Car Rental’s mobile app won for Car Rental – Overall-Mobile App and the Emerald Club won for Car Rental – Overall-Loyalty Program.

The 2019 Magellan Awards honor the best in travel in a range of industry segments, including ground transportation, airlines & airports, cruise lines, destinations, hospitality, online travel services, travel agents and agencies, and tour operators.
