Enterprise Rent-A-Car plans to hire 8,500 college graduates into the Enterprise Management Training Program and 2,000 interns into the Management Internship Program in 2019. As a result, Enterprise was named the No. 1 Entry Level Employer by CollegeGrad.com for the 12th time.

Every year, Enterprise branch offices hire thousands of college-educated, career-oriented men and women into the Management Training and Management Internship Programs. These programs teach employees everything they need to know to run a business, lead teams and deliver excellent face-to-face customer service.

Enterprise’s promote-from-within culture allows Management Trainees to move up quickly in the company based on their performance and work ethic. Most of the company’s top executives got their start in the Management Training Program, including Enterprise Holdings’ Chief Executive Officer Pam Nicholson, President and Chief Operating Officer Christine Taylor, and President of the Enterprise Holdings Foundation Carolyn Kindle Betz.

Enterprise Holdings operates its flagship Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand, as well as the National Car Rental andAlamo Rent A Car brands, through an integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries.

In 2018, 17,342 Enterprise, National and Alamo employees were promoted or took on new challenges in various positions throughout the world.

Leading in Candidate, Employee Experience

Last fall, Enterprise Holdings launched a new global careers site to help streamline the process for candidates applying for these jobs. The company took a data-driven approach to tailor the website design and functionality. The new, user-friendly interface allows users to quickly view open roles at Enterprise by location. The site also shares information about Enterprise’s Management Training opportunities and showcases a variety of other opportunities offered by the global business.

As a result, for the second year in a row, Enterprise Rent-A-Car was named a top employer in Potentialpark’s 2019 rankings in the categories of Digital Talent Communication, Career Website, and Mobile Experience.

In addition, Enterprise earned bronze in the Best Place to Work – Large company category by Best in Biz Awards 2018 for the launch and adoption of its new employee-facing mobile app.

In conjunction with innovative and tech-forward tools, Enterprise employs a high-touch, personalized recruiting strategy to continually attract top talent. This decentralized talent acquisition approach includes a team of more than 200 recruiters, who build deep and long-lasting partnerships locally across more than 800 college campuses. In addition, these recruiters use various online tools to personally connect with and respond to each candidate.

As a result of these high-touch, in-person and digital recruiting efforts, Enterprise was ranked third on Indeed’s list of Hottest Companies for Job Seekers in 2018. Within the report, Enterprise is highlighted for its “people-first” approach, namely its commitment to respond to all applicants no matter the status of their hire. Also in 2018, and for the fifth time, Enterprise was recognized by Talent Board for the elevation and promotion of a positive candidate experience in North America.
