Hertz Appoints Kenny Cheung as New CFO
Kenny K. Cheung was recently promoted to executive VP of finance and chief operational finance and restructuring officer.

Previously, he served as senior VP of global financial planning and analysis and CFO of North America at Hertz. Cheung joined the company in December 2018.

Hertz Global Holdings announced the appointment of Kenny K. Cheung as its new CFO, effective Sept. 24. He succeeds R. Eric Esper, who has resigned to pursue a new opportunity and will remain with Hertz as chief accounting Oofficer until Nov. 1, to assist in the transition of those responsibilities.
Cheung was recently promoted to executive VP of finance and chief operational finance and restructuring officer. Previously, he served as senior VP of global financial planning and analysis and CFO of North America at Hertz. Cheung joined the company in December 2018.
Prior to that, Cheung held financial leadership roles with Nielsen Holdings, most recently as global chief audit executive, and prior to that as a regional COO after serving as regional CFO. Prior to Nielsen, Cheung worked for General Electric in various roles across supply chain, operations, and financial planning and analysis.
"Kenny has developed a deep understanding of our business and we're pleased that he is stepping into this role and expanding his financial leadership responsibilities at this important time as we continue taking steps to best position Hertz for the future," Paul Stone, CEO of Hertz, said in a statement.
