Hertz Joins Coalition to Support Small Businesses

Hertz has joined American Express’s Stand for Small initiative, a coalition of more than 40 companies that have come together to support small businesses as they navigate the impacts of COVID-19.
The Stand for Small coalition aims to provide millions of U.S. small businesses access to support through services, offers, tools and expertise, among other benefits. These resources are available to support small businesses as they work to reduce their operating expenses, manage their teams remotely, enhance their digital capabilities, and address other needs during this pandemic.
Through the Stand for Small initiative, Hertz is offering exclusive benefits to small business owners via its Hertz Business Rewards program, which supports small and mid-size businesses.
“At Hertz, we see small businesses as the heart and soul of our communities and we’re inspired to go the extra mile for them,” Kathy Marinello, Hertz President and CEO, said in a statement. “We’re proud to be part of the American Express Stand for Small program as one way we can support all the small businesses that are vital to our economy and so important to us at Hertz."
American Express customers will enjoy complimentary Hertz Business Rewards membership, 20% off on cargo van rentals, 50% off SiriusXM and no young renter fee, while receiving existing program benefits which include preferred pricing, dedicated support, free car rental days and more.
