Hertz Launches 'Triple Points' Promo in Europe
The 'Triple Points' promotion will be available for Gold Plus Rewards members in nine European countries: the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
The Hertz Corp. has launched a new "Triple Points" promotion for Gold Plus Rewards members in nine European countries until Dec. 15, 2012, as well as offering free membership to new participants.
With this offer customers can earn points toward rental days — free time and mileage for a day's rental — three times as fast for qualifying rentals in now a total of 16 countries. There are no restrictions on rental length or class of car booked.
As part of the special offer, current Hertz #1 Club participants and new members can become Gold Plus Rewards Members and participate in earning triple points during the promotion without needing to make the usual three paid rentals to qualify for joining.
Gold Plus Rewards members in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg who have elected to earn Gold Plus Rewards Points in their member profile are automatically registered to earn points on their rentals in these nine countries plus the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand.
Once a qualifying paid rental is made, the member will be awarded the bonus points in approximately 14 days (one base point plus two bonus points). Points may be redeemed immediately once awarded. Base points are awarded at the rate of one point per U.S. dollar or its equivalent spent on qualifying rentals, so during the promotion members will earn three points per equivalent U.S. dollar spent.
Gold Plus Rewards offers no blackouts, points that do not expire, rental rewards in Europe starting at 800 points on weekend rentals, and a variety of vehicle types for redemption.
If members prefer, they may still earn points in many of the other partner loyalty programs in which Hertz participates. Points accumulate in the member's account online and are redeemed online.
Hertz Gold Plus Rewards program details, including terms and conditions can be obtained from www.hertz.co.uk/triplepoints.
