Travelers requesting an Uber or Lyft ride at LAX will no longer be able to be picked-up at the terminal, as LAX looks to reduce traffic congestion, NBC Los Angeles reports.
Instead, those requesting rides will have to take a shuttle to a designated lot to get their ride. The shuttles, which will pick up at the terminals every five minutes, will be in use until the automated people mover opens in 2023.
The lot will also include taxis.
