Rentalcars.com has launched Rentalcars Connect, which provides airlines, online travel agencies and travel websites access to the company's car rental inventory at more than 39,000 locations in 180 countries.
Through Rentalcars Connect, businesses can offer their customers the same products and services as rentalcars.com, including global availability of cars, as well as booking solutions in 40 languages phone and email support.
"We've been providing car rental booking solutions for travel brands for over 10 years, and now have over 50 airline partners,” said Peter Rooney, marketing director of rentalcars.com. “By creating a solution in Rentalcars Connect, our B2B team can provide dedicated partner support and continue working on innovative ways to provide the best solutions for our partners while the rentalcars.com team can focus on sourcing the best product, optimizing pricing and providing the best service in the industry to support our partners' customers."
“Equally important, this move allows us increased flexibility,” added Ady Guthrie, director of Rentalcars Connect. “Many companies employ our solution but manage their own customers directly, while others prefer to leave everything to us. Whatever level of support our partners need, our integration solutions can deliver, directly leading to higher earnings, increased conversion rates and more ancillary revenue."
