Unlimited Budget Commemorates 15th Anniversary
Avis Budget Group's loyalty program is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a contest for members to win Unlimited Budget points and gift certificates for car rentals or hotel stays.
Unlimited Budget, Avis Budget Group's loyalty program for travel professionals, announced its 15th anniversary on Sept. 26.
Unlimited Budget launched a contest to reward members as part of the celebration. Through Dec.11, members can answer the question "What do you love about Unlimited Budget?" on the Facebook fan page to be entered for a chance to win a grand prize valued at more than $3,000.
Members will also be eligible to win weekly prizes ranging from Unlimited Budget points to gift certificates for car rentals and hotel stays. Contest entries will be judged on creativity and content.
The program began in 1997 and has grown to include more than a dozen travel brands eligible for reward points and 20,000 travel agents participating. Unlimited Budget has helped Avis Budget Group generate more than $800 million in car rental transactions, the company reported.
"Travel professionals play a critical role in our efforts to strategically accelerate growth," said Stephen Wright, Avis Budget Group VP of global travel and partnership sales. “We thank agents for their continued business and loyalty, and are excited to celebrate this important milestone with them."
