Kolodziej joins Midway Car Rental after 26 years at Enterprise Rent-A-Car where he expanded multiple markets and business segments. Most recently, he served as fleet strategist in one of the company’s largest and most competitive regions, southern California. Prior, he was the regional VP in Houston where he grew the region by 30%.

His many accomplishments include increasing net profits two-fold in four years and negotiating the company’s first multi-market agreement with Service King, becoming one of the larger multiple shop operators (MSO) in the country. Honors included Exceptional Achievement Awards in remarketing, business management and daily rental. Kolodziej will be responsible for managing and developing his sales team to support Midway Car Rental’s growth and expansion into new markets.

“I’m excited to be joining Midway Car Rental at such an important time in its growth,” Kolodziej said in a statement. “Undoubtedly, the pandemic has hit our industry hard, but I’m looking forward to the opportunity to create new business streams and foster even stronger relationships that will set us up for future success and expand our reach.”

Perez has more than 16 years of experience in the car rental business. In his new role, he will be overseeing the growing number of Midway Car Rental branches, including operations, profit growth and staff development. Prior to joining Midway Car Rental, Perez managed a team of more than 300 employees at Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s Los Angeles International Airport location, the company’s largest and most profitable operation. He was directly accountable for revenue growth in excess of $75 million annually. Previously, he pioneered the company’s exotic car collection, expanding the footprint from six branches to 12 and driving increased revenue from $1.5 million to $7.8 million.

“I’ve always admired Midway’s focus on providing the best cars and the best service to its customers,” said Perez. “I’m excited for the opportunity to bring my unique experience and expertise to the table and take the already impressive teams to the next level.”
