Spring breakers are causing a shortage of rental cars across the Hawaiian islands, Hawaii News Now reports.
Those who are able to book a vehicle will have to pay top-dollar to do so. Renting a van can set travelers back as much as $500 a day; convertibles can start at $1,000.
