Global franchise and affiliate car rental brand Green Motion, which operates in over 50 countries around the world, announced the official launch of its new refrigerated van, truck, and trailer rental business, operating under the sub-brand Cool Motion.
The service has gone live today at four pilot locations in the United Kingdom, supporting central England and Scotland, and provides a range of chilled and refrigerated vans, trucks, and trailers for rental.
"I am delighted to see a further innovation from Green Motion take to the road. With the explosion in home shopping/delivery which has been accelerated by the pandemic, the timing for launching this new refrigerated rental service could not be better," Green Motion's Founder and CEO Richard Lowden said in a statement. "There is now clear evidence that there is massive pent-up demand for the outside events and catering market, which the Cool Motion service supports perfectly. While the initial pilot locations have launched here in the United Kingdom, we expect later this year to see the Cool Motion service being offered by many other Green Motion franchisees and affiliates."
The first Cool Motion locations have been launched by one of Green Motion's most long-established franchisees, Vinay & Viral Pala, that have been with Green Motion since 2008 and have expanded its operations with the brand from a single location in Leicestershire to eight locations throughout the country.
