Nominated by his franchise network for the World CEO of the Year 2022 Award, Green Motion and U-Save CEO Richard Lowden received a fourth place victory this year. Lowden was one of over 600 CEOs nominated for the title, receiving about 1,000 votes.

The World CEO Rankings (TWCR) are online awards owned by Plus Media Group to acknowledge the best CEOs worldwide through a strict nomination process and three-month-long voting season, according to the company.

"I was incredibly humbled to be nominated for this prestigious award in the first place, but to receive so much support from both the Green Motion & U-Save network along with industry colleagues from around the globe is incredibly flattering to say the least," Lowden said in a statement. "This has been a fantastic opportunity to put the car rental and travel industry in the spotlight. The CEO Ranking Awards is in their third year and this year the organization received a record number of nominations. I would like to once again give my sincere thanks to our franchisees, industry partners, as well as Auto Rental News for all their support."
